The Story Behind TSHRTX
Every brand starts with an idea ours started with the simple desire to create something that felt real, creative, and personal.
I’ve always wanted to build a t-shirt brand that allowed me to express myself creatively. Something that could capture thoughts, moments, and ideas in a way that felt natural not forced or overly designed. A brand that lets the message do the talking. That’s how tshrtx began.
The name itself came from wanting to make something familiar, but with a twist. I played around with the word t-shirts and realized I could reinvent it make it shorter, punchier, and more memorable. It was definitely out of the box and honestly, a little scary. Would people accept it? Would they get it? But the more I looked at it, the more it felt right. The misspelling wasn’t a mistake it was intentional. It carried meaning.
The x at the end sealed it. It gave the word a visual edge, but it also stood for something deeper. The x can represent the plural as in many shirts. It can stand for the unknown like in math, where x is something open to interpretation. That felt perfect because that’s exactly how our designs work: they mean different things to different people. And, of course, the x just looks good.
tshrtx represents a way to connect through subtle messages and simple designs. Our shirts speak without shouting they say just enough to make people stop, read, and react. Right now, we’re especially connected to the sales and business community. These are people who know what it’s like to put themselves out there, to communicate, to negotiate, and to build relationships. Our shirts were designed for them for the hustlers, closers, and go-getters who understand that sometimes a small message can say a lot.

We experiment a lot there’s plenty of trial and error involved but that’s part of what makes this brand exciting. We’re not afraid to take chances and see what sticks. Every design is a chance to connect with someone new, to make them think, or just to make them smile.
